December 19th, 2008
This past week, the Leadership class has been very busy helping out with Christmas decorations and planning for the Christmas dinner! We've set up the tree and started making a Christmas Wreath to match our beloved turkey.
In other related news, the Canned Food Drive started last week, and ended yesterday December 18th. The 2nd and 3rd graders won with 25+ cans per 6 students! The 4th and 5th graders were not far behind, with approximately 14 cans per 11 students. The High School was almost last, with the PreSchoolers .1 cans per student behind. We have 17 kids, and they have 11 kids. In other words, our High Schoolers need some motivation and spirit if we are to survive even the simplest of tasks.
The Christmas Dinner was very successful. Our entire school ate together, parents and all, and a GIANT Thank You to the cooks, who so wonderfully prepared our Christmas Turkey. After we ate, each grade went back to their homeroom, with the High School in the Multi Purpose Room. Another big Thank You to our Secret Santas, who got us amazing gifts! Merry Christmas!!
Homecoming Court was announced, after opening our gifts, as follows:
Prince Jacob Keithly and Princess Krista Hansen
Prince Tygh Schuster and Princess Neola Putnam
Prince Brian Langfield and Princess Julia LaVallie
Prince Dustin Jones and Princess Amy Keithly
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Leadership Class!!!
